Catering and Shop Manager

Company Introduction:

SF Gelateria is a gelato catering company. Our menu features Italian classics, American favorites, and Global flavors. There is a strong emphasis on organic and local ingredients and gelato is made from scratch in small batches. We are hiring people who love food, especially frozen treats, and love bringing happiness to people.

Duties:

• Manage gelato and catering bookings, communicate with customers.
• Sales and Marketing of catering services with commission.
• Manage catering events by coordinating staff, logistics, equipment, and gelato.
• Manage and schedule staffing needs
• Training of staff
• Be a barista and gelato expert
• Provide excellent customer service. Greet customers with a friendly disposition and excellent people skills.
• Be hands on and Serve gelato and add toppings with an emphasis on presentation.
• Drive to locations anywhere in the Bay Area in the company van.
• Load/unload and set up carts for service.
• Maintain facility and equipment with highest safety and sanitary standards

Qualifications:

• Previous event management/shop management/catering experience preferred. Desire to learn a must.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Clean Driving Record with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Able to stand on feet for extended periods of time.
• Has/obtains ServSafe Manager Card within 1 month of hire.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Thrives in active and fast-paced work environment.
• Committed to punctuality and exemplary attendance.
• Be very organized and with attention to detail.
