Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to ICU patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient responses.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse effects and interactions.
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members and communicate changes to physicians, therapists, and support staff.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff, delegating tasks appropriately.
- Document all care accurately and maintain patient safety and infection control standards.

Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse license
- Nursing degree from an accredited program (ADN or BSN)
- ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred
- Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Ability to work in an inpatient ICU setting and participate in a 12-hour day shift
- Willingness to travel for an 8-week assignment
