Registered Associate Therapist for a Culturally Sensitive Private Practice

We are a culturally sensitive, identity-affirming, and non-pathological private practice in Highland Park, Northeast Los Angeles. We are seeking a registered associate therapist (AMFT, APCC, ACSW) who can maintain a minimum of 18-20 sessions per week part-time with the opportunity to work towards full-time after having built up to and maintaining at least 24 sessions a week. We primarily focus on providing individual psychotherapy for adults, specializing in trauma recovery, Highly Sensitive People/Empaths, and neurodiverse and creatives. Our therapeutic approach is rooted in IFS (Internal Family Systems) and weaves in CBT, Polyvagal, and EMDR as needed.
Our therapists value their self-growth and are continuously curious about the intersections of their narratives with the ones they learn from their clients. They offer personalized, compassionate, and high-quality therapy services—a special welcome to applicants who are IFS, EMDR, Polyvagal, EFT informed/trained.
What we offer:
- W2 employee status with pay ranging from $45-$64 per clinical hour (the initial 3-6 months) and $56-$80 (post 6 months employment)

- Paid $16.78 per hour for non-clinical work such as attending weekly supervision, providing consultation calls with potential clients, completing assessments, and writing blog posts

- Insurance Billings/Management (our practice is hybrid private pay and insurance)
- Self-directed/flexible schedule (our therapists usually work 4 consecutive days a week)
- Access to our office in Highland Park to offer in-person sessions
*Full-Time employees have the option to enroll in monthly reimbursements for qualified healthcare premiums and medical expenses (Medical, Dental, Vision)
Requirements:
- Must possess active registration with California BBS
- Must be able to maintain a minimum caseload of 18-20 sessions per week for part time
- Committed to seeing private practice clients exclusively at Therapy on Fig
- Must have your own private space, computer, and wifi to hold telehealth sessions at home
- Complete timely session notes with orientation to detail
- Able to self-manage fluctuation schedules (based on clients' travels, reschedules, etc.)
- Open to completing a blog post 1X a month catered to ideal client
- Must be able see clients in-person at our Highland Park office on Tuesdays 2pm-on, and Wednesdays and/or Mondays 5pm-on.
Nice to Have:
- Ideally, have accumulated at least 1200 hours towards licensure
- IFS informed/trained or have other trauma-informed modality training such as EMDR
- Key character traits: conscientious, reliable, and growth-minded
