A leading technology company is seeking a Machinist (Swing) . The successful candidate will develop and sustain machining processes utilizing cutting-edge machine tools such as Swiss Style Lathes, Single and Multi-Turret Lathes, and 3 to 5 axis Milling centers. Machinist (Swing) Responsibilities:
- Work closely with R&D on microwave applications, influence designs for mechanical components and assemblies, ensure design for manufacturability, facilitate release, and support production.
- Interface with Engineering, Maintenance, and Management as well as production/NPI Schedulers.
Machinist (Swing) Qualifications:
- A 2-year certification from JC. or a Journeyman Machinist certification is preferred.
- Must have the willingness to learn.
- Strong teamwork, positive attitude, dedication, and job flexibility.
- Experience with any/all of the following is desired:
- 3 to 5 axis Milling
- Swiss Style Lathes
- Mill/Turn Machine Center
- Advanced Metrology
- CNC Programming/CAM Programming Software
- CAD/Solid Modeling
- Tool Grinding
- Interpreting specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Shift:
- Swing: 2 pm - 10:30 pm.
