Job Description

A third-party distributor for small electronic parts that manages and ships products for ten different companies is seeking an Inventory Clerk. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient stock control, and supporting warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability.
• Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of electronic components and products.
• Label and organize inventory in designated storage areas.
• Update inventory management systems with accurate data.
• Assist in preparing inventory reports for management.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and shipping departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow safety and organizational standards in all warehouse activities.
• Lift up to 30+ lbs on a consistent basis.
• Perform palletizing and de-palletizing of orders.
• Use a computer to pull items, pack, label, and ship.
• Use RF Scan Gun for inventory management tasks.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience as an inventory clerk or in a similar role, preferably in the electronics industry.
• Familiarity with inventory software such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move moderately heavy items.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with forklift operation is a plus.

Work Environment

Work the 1st shift from 7:30am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, with possible overtime as needed. The dress code is casual, consisting of a t-shirt, jeans, and tennis shoes. You will be working in a dynamic warehouse setting, utilizing inventory control technology and systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fullerton, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
