About the Role:

LiveX AI is on a mission to transform how companies engage with customers—before, during, and after the sale—through the power of AI. As a Backend Engineer - Infrastructure , you’ll play a foundational role in designing and scaling intelligent, multimodal customer interaction platforms powered by cutting-edge technologies like LLMs and generative AI.

We’re looking for a hands-on engineering leader with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments. You’ll build both high-performing backend systems and intuitive frontend interfaces that bring AI-driven experiences to life.

Responsibilities:

• Lead development and deployment of cloud-native services with a strong focus on GCP infrastructure .

• Design and maintain robust backend APIs, microservices, and real-time systems optimized for GCP.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable tech solutions.

• Stay up-to-date with advancements in GenAI, cloud engineering, and customer experience technologies.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience, with strong backend and frontend skills.

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) — including services like Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, GKE, Pub/Sub, etc.

• Proven success deploying and scaling production systems on GCP.

• Familiarity with LLMs, open-source GenAI tools, and AI/ML integrations.

• Proficient in Backend languages such as Python or Script language.

• Experience with microservices architecture, API design, and cloud-native infrastructure.

• Comfortable working in fast-moving startup environments with a proactive, flexible mindset.

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience in AI/LLM startups or customer experience tech.

• Familiarity with multimodal interaction systems (e.g., integrating voice, video, and images).

• Contributions to open-source or GenAI-related projects.
