Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

Mechanical and system development from concept to production. Perform design and necessary analysis, develop and execute validation test plans. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (eg, development, product management, inside and outside manufacturing).

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Electrical Engineering with 6+ years relevant experience required
• Proven track record in product development from concept to production
• Strong design skills, analytical problem solving and attention to detail
• Experience designing complex electro‑mechanical systems & thermal management solutions including liquid cooling
• Knowledge of sheet metal, machined parts, plastic and extrusion fabrication methods
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SolidWorks; familiar with ANSI drafting standards
• Ability to excel in a fast paced dynamic environment
• Excellent verbal and written English skills and ability to work in small teams required
• Competent with hand and bench tools
• Experience with SolidWorks Flow Simulation a plus
• Knowledge of networking/data center equipment a plus
• Knowledge of HALT testing a plus

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

California pay range: MIN $134,950- MAX $224,920

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
