Junior Accounting Clerk

Job Overview: Embark on a rewarding temporary role with Grower Direct Nut Company as a Junior Accounting Clerk! In this dynamic position, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records through clerical duties, data entry, and meticulous attention to detail.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Seamlessly manage routine data entry tasks for various accounting functions including accounts payable, billing, and accounts receivable.
- Ensure the accuracy of billing statements, invoices, and related documents.
- Efficiently distribute essential accounting reports as per directives.
- Provide support with mail distribution, phone inquiries, and other administrative tasks as necessary.
- Adaptability to undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrate precision and efficiency in computer-based data entry.
- Possess foundational mathematical skills for accurate financial processing.
- Exhibit excellent verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively within the team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software applications.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior training in bookkeeping.
Physical Requirements:
- Comfortably work for extended periods at a desk using a computer.
- Ability to occasionally lift objects weighing up to 15 pounds.
