We are looking for a skilled Web Developer to join our development team and contribute to building and maintaining our websites, web applications, and digital platforms.

Position Overview:

The Web Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining web-based applications and websites. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to create responsive and user-friendly websites that enhance the user experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with both front-end and back-end development and a passion for creating high-quality, scalable web solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Web Development: Develop, test, and maintain websites and web applications, ensuring they are responsive, secure, and optimized for performance across all devices and browsers.

Front-End Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js ).

Back-End Development: Work with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js , Python, Ruby, PHP) and databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to build and maintain the server-side logic and database interactions for web applications.

Collaborate with Design Team: Work closely with the design team to implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces that align with company branding and user experience goals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, marketing teams, and other developers to understand project requirements, provide technical solutions, and ensure timely delivery of web-based projects.

Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify and resolve issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in web applications and websites.

Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure that SkillersZone’s web products remain innovative and competitive.

Quality Assurance: Conduct regular code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure that the codebase adheres to quality standards and best practices.

Website Maintenance: Ensure that websites and applications are regularly updated, secure, and perform well. Handle software updates, security patches, and ongoing bug fixes.

API Integration: Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance web functionality and improve user experience.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Web Developer, Front-End Developer, or Full-Stack Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing web projects.

Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js ).

Strong experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js , Python, Ruby, or PHP.

Experience working with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and implementing data storage solutions.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).

Strong understanding of web design principles, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.

Experience with website performance optimization and SEO best practices.

Knowledge of web security best practices and how to protect web applications from security threats.

Ability to work in an Agile environment and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to coding and debugging.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
