Pipefitter
Essel is seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our talented team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in various settings, including industrial, commercial, and residential environments. This role requires a thorough understanding of piping materials, fabrication techniques, and blueprints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain piping systems, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and layout of piping systems.
- Fabricate and assemble piping and plumbing systems, including valves, fittings, and fixtures.
- Inspect piping systems for leaks and other issues, troubleshooting as necessary.
- Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites to ensure safe and efficient project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their piping needs and project status.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a Pipefitting apprenticeship program or equivalent work experience.
- Valid Pipefitter license preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Pipefitter.
- Strong understanding of piping systems, materials, and fabrication techniques.
- Proficient with related tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
