Superintendent - Commercial Construction

Webuild () is actively searching for a seasoned Construction Superintendent to take charge of overseeing a wide spectrum of commercial development projects in the Sacramento Marketplace.

This is a remarkable long-term employment opportunity within one of the region's foremost development firms that is seeking a Superintendent who can not only work on some of the most notable projects in the area but also contribute significantly to project leadership and success over time.

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 8 years of construction management experience, with at least 4 years dedicated to overseeing projects within the realms of commercial development (office, retail, restaurant, warehouse), multi-family housing, high-end residential construction, and medical support facilities. You should be well-versed in managing all aspects of onsite construction, including schedules, scopes of work, budgets, processing change orders, handling RFI's, materials procurement, nurturing vendor relationships, and conducting inspections to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

As the Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for directing onsite construction activities across a wide variety of projects, spanning from rough grade to project closeout. This role will entail managing single or multiple concurrent projects in the Sacramento and surrounding marketplace. You must possess the ability to oversee onsite construction, manage various trades, coordinate schedules, handle RFI's, manage submittals, procure materials, oversee personnel, and conduct inspections to ensure the successful completion of projects. The typical project scope will range from $5 to $20 million.

Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related industry experience. Strong construction management skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities, are essential. Proficiency in the MS Office suite and Project software is desired.
