- Manage all aspects of land development and public works projects, from concept through construction.
- Supervise and mentor engineering designers, including assigning daily work, conducting reviews, and ensuring quality control.
- Oversee project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Prepare contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and public agency personnel, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Lead the preparation of plans, technical specifications, bid documents, and cost estimates for municipal infrastructure projects.
- Municipal street design
- Drainage systems, water mains, and sanitary sewers
- ADA-compliant sidewalks
- Other municipal infrastructure systems
- 6+ years of experience in land development and/or public works engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
- California PE license preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to build and sustain client relationships.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D required.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
