Maintenance Manager-Property
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager for a direct hire opportunity in San Ramon, CA for Growing property management Company. This multi-site leadership role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional who can oversee building operations, manage vendor relationships, lead maintenance teams, and ensure properties are maintained to high standards. The Maintenance Manager will play a key role in supporting safe, efficient, and well-maintained residential or commercial property environments. Key Responsibilities - Oversee maintenance operations across multiple properties,- Manage maintenance budgets, vendor relationships, service contracts, agreements, and project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, inspections, audits, and company maintenance standards.
- Lead, mentor, schedule, and support maintenance team members to promote accountability, quality, and teamwork.
- Coordinate and oversee work involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, general repairs, building systems, and property improvements.
- Partner with property management leadership to prioritize projects, resolve issues, and maintain safe, attractive, and functional properties. Compensation and Benefits - Salary range: $80,000 to $95,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage multi-site maintenance operations, including repairs, inspections, preventive maintenance, and capital or special projects.- Oversee vendor contracts, budgets, agreements, audits, and compliance requirements.
- Lead and mentor maintenance teams while coordinating multiple projects and daily priorities.
- Support building systems maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs. - 3 to 5 years of maintenance management experience, preferably in real estate, property management, facilities, or a related environment.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, general repairs, building maintenance, and property operations.
- Experience managing vendors, service contracts, maintenance budgets, inspections, audits, and safety compliance.
- Ability to interpret and follow building codes, safety regulations, and operational policies.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple sites, shifting priorities, deadlines, and team needs with professionalism and sound judgment. Preferred Qualifications - Prior experience managing maintenance operations for multi-site residential, commercial, or mixed-use properties.
- Experience with property management maintenance systems, work order tracking, or preventive maintenance programs.
- Knowledge of local building codes and inspection processes in California.
- Hands-on technical background with the ability to troubleshoot and guide maintenance teams effectively.
