Delivery Driver/Builder

ACE HARDWARE
DELIVERY DRIVER

• Responsible for managing a delivery schedule
• Pick up, Load, and Deliver merchandise from stores to customers homes
• Curbside to White Glove Delivery
• Organized and detailed oriented
• Building merchandise for display
• Building Screen Orders and other tasks or projects designated by Store Manager
• Providing Customer service

Experience:

• Trade skills accompanied by a personality that will support our Core Values and mission.
• Driving a full size truck for deliveries

Physical Requirements:

The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to:

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently to load and unload customer orders.
• Driver making deliveries must be able to lift 100 pounds and carry 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff and customers a normal in-person and phone conversation.
• Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel.
• Ascend and descend ladder.
• Ability to work at heights.

License and Certificates:

• Must possess and maintain a current valid California Driver's License.
• Must clear DMV check and be cleared for company insurance

Rate of Pay: $21-$22
