Compensation Range: $175 / hour – $185 / hour W2

Job Description:
Design and deliver high-quality data visualizations and branded assets that translate complex technical information into clear, accurate, and visually compelling outputs.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Design charts, graphs, diagrams, and infographics from complex datasets
• Translate technical concepts into clear, visually engaging materials
• Build and maintain reusable templates and components in Figma
• Produce branded collateral including decks, one-pagers, and social assets
• Partner with researchers, marketers, and stakeholders to shape data narratives
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across all visual outputs
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate progress effectively

Requirements:

• Must-Haves:
  • 5 years of experience in visual design with strong data visualization portfolio
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Ability to translate complex datasets into clear, accurate visualizations
  • Strong foundation in typography, color theory, layout, and hierarchy
  • Experience working within and extending established brand systems
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, AI, or big tech environments
• Nice-to-Haves:
  • Familiarity with data visualization accessibility standards (WCAG, colorblind-safe palettes)
  • Experience with technical, scientific, or research-based subject matter
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets to clean and structure data
  • Experience using AI tools to support design workflows
  • Background in agency, editorial, or research-driven environments
