Senior Accountant
This Senior accountant will play an integral role in accurately preparing the company’s accounting records and performance with a focus on Fixed Assets. We are actively seeking a Senior Accountant with a 4 year bachelors degree and ideally 4 year(s) experience. The position reports to an Accounting Manager who will be an awesome mentor to help groom your experience with best practices. Responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all things related to Fixed assets, including preparing depreciation schedules and post depreciation journal entries.
• Capitalize asset acquisitions, disposals, and retirement.
• Research and capitalize assets as according to GAAP asset life categories.
• Month-end activities, journal entries, GL & account reconciliation and analysis.
• Assist with monthly budget vs. actual variance analysis.
• Posting monthly accrual journal entries, fixed assets and depreciation.
• Financial reporting, preparation of supporting schedules, and data analysis.
• Strong Accounting systems experience and intermediate Excel skills are desired
• Strong communication and presentation skills would be necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related
• 3 years of relevant GL & fixed asset experience
• Strong communication and presentation skills would be necessary.
