Water Utility Assessment Analyst / Writer

We are seeking two (2) Assessment Analysts / Writers to support a client engagement in Los Angeles. This role combines strong analytical skills, professional writing expertise, and consulting experience, with a focus on the water utilities sector and adjacent industries.

This position is being proposed as part of a Request for Proposal (RFP) that is anticipated to be awarded later this year, with selected candidates contingent upon contract approval.

WORKSITE : Los Angeles, CA onsite

WORK SCHEDULE: Approximately 36 hours per week, February – August 2026 (~7 months)

PAY RATE: $70.00 -$75.00 per hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Conduct research and assessments in the water utilities and adjacent industries
• Draft high-quality reports, assessments, and written deliverables for client review
• Synthesize complex technical and operational information into clear, concise documentation
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet client expectations
• Provide consulting insights and recommendations based on findings and industry knowledge

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• Proven expertise in professional writing, research, and analysis
• Strong consulting and client engagement skills
• Prior experience working with water utilities and/or adjacent industries
• Exceptional ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
• Availability to work ~36 hours per week onsite in Los Angeles, February – August 2026
• Writing samples will be required as part of the application process
