Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: Starting at $150,000+, commensurate with experience
• Commission Earned on cases
• Bonus Program: Generous case referral bonuses

Work Expectations and Schedule:

• No billable hour requirements
• Preference for in-office work but open to a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
• Manage a caseload of 25-30 cases, serving as the lead attorney from filing through trial
• Develop case strategies and theories
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Take and defend depositions, including those of plaintiffs, defendants, experts, and more
• Engage in settlement negotiations
• Act as second chair in trials
• Maintain regular client communication to provide updates on case progress
• Oversee and direct paralegals and other support staff

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• 0-5 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership with the California Bar in good standing
• Proven track record of successfully managing a caseload and resolving cases for high-value
• Strong legal research and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Client-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High ethical standards and commitment to professional integrity
• Trial experience is a plus, but not required
