**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembler to join our team from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing industrial labeling machines, sub-assemblies, and electrical circuits and components to meet quality standards. This role requires working efficiently and safely to meet production schedules and targets, including disassembling used machinery for remanufacturing.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble electro-mechanical equipment using approved methods and mechanical drawings, schematics, and instructions.
+ Assemble and align new and reconditioned components such as gears, bearings, and electrical motors.
+ Cut, strip, bend, and form wires and cables; connect circuits and install electrical assemblies.
+ Perform operational and electrical tests using standard procedures and equipment.
+ Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical assemblies to diagnose and correct malfunctions.
+ Maintain quality standards and accurate reporting for defective materials.
+ Complete work orders per production schedules and maintain accurate records.
+ Maintain company property and cleanliness of work areas.
+ Adhere to company policies, HR guidelines, and health and safety requirements.
+ Communicate with engineering staff on manufacturing issues.
+ Disassemble equipment for cleaning and rebuild into new machines.
+ Participate in continual improvement and 5S activities.
+ Assist other machine production department employees as needed.
+ Engage in continuous improvement efforts and other assigned duties.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in assembly, blueprints, mechanical and electrical knowledge.
+ Experience with general labor and FDA batch records.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to handle physical demands such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
+ Strong vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
