Maintenance Supervisor-Property
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor-Property for a direct hire opportunity in Canyon Country, CA. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance leader who takes pride in keeping residential or commercial properties safe, attractive, efficient, and well maintained. The Maintenance Supervisor-Property will partner closely with property management, vendors, technicians, residents, and tenants to ensure maintenance operations run smoothly and service requests are handled with professionalism and urgency. Key Responsibilities - Oversee daily property maintenance operations, including repairs, inspections, preventive maintenance, and service request completion.- Supervise, schedule, and support maintenance technicians and vendors to ensure timely, high-quality work.
- Partner with property management to address building needs, resident or tenant concerns, safety priorities, and capital improvement projects.
- Coordinate vendor services, review work quality, and ensure maintenance activities meet property standards and operational requirements.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning property environment by identifying issues, prioritizing repairs, and following up through completion.
- Support inventory control, maintenance documentation, compliance standards, and continuous improvement of property maintenance processes. Compensation and Benefits - Salary range: $75,000 to $85,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Lead day-to-day maintenance operations for a property management environment.- Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and service requests.
- Supervise maintenance technicians, vendors, and assigned property maintenance projects.
- Support safe, efficient, attractive, and well-maintained buildings. - 3 to 5 years of maintenance experience, preferably within real estate, property management, multifamily, commercial property, or a related environment.
- Prior experience supervising maintenance staff, coordinating vendors, or leading property maintenance activities.
- Strong working knowledge of general building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, appliances, and common property systems.
- Ability to prioritize service requests, emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, and ongoing property needs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work professionally with property management, residents, tenants, vendors, and internal teams.
- Dependable, organized, safety-focused, and committed to delivering quality workmanship and responsive service. Preferred Qualifications - Experience in multifamily, residential community, commercial property, or mixed-use property maintenance.
- Familiarity with work order systems, maintenance tracking tools, and vendor coordination processes.
- Knowledge of safety practices, building systems, code compliance, and preventive maintenance planning.
- HVAC, EPA, CPO, electrical, plumbing, or other maintenance-related certifications.
