About the Opportunity

Our client, is seeking an experienced Business Litigation Attorney to join its growing litigation practice.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 5+ years of business or commercial litigation experience who is comfortable independently managing sophisticated cases from inception through resolution.

The firm represents a diverse international client base and handles matters involving contract disputes, shareholder and partnership conflicts, commercial collections, and intellectual property infringement.

What You'll Do
• Conduct legal research and analysis to develop effective litigation strategies
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations
• Negotiate settlements and agreements to achieve favorable client outcomes
• Provide strategic legal advice based on client needs and objectives
• Collaborate with attorneys, clients, experts, and legal support staff throughout the litigation process
• Manage cases and prepare matters for hearings and trial
• Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and developments in business and commercial litigation

What You'll Bring

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school preferred
• Active California Bar license in good standing
• Proven litigation experience within a law firm setting
• Strong legal research skills with proficiency in Westlaw and LexisNexis
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound legal advice
• Strong organizational, case management, and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple cases and competing deadlines
• Cultural awareness and adaptability when working with international clients
• Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively
