Job Details:

• Own the full guest experience from greeting to farewell — attentive, knowledgeable, and composed at all times
• Maintain complete, confident knowledge of all menu items including sushi preparations, sake selections, and seasonal specials
• Guide guests through the menu; make thoughtful recommendations and describe dishes and sake pairings with clarity
• Accurately take and enter all food and beverage orders; communicate allergies and dietary restrictions to the kitchen without exception
• Deliver food and beverages to the correct guest without asking who ordered; maintain table cleanliness and anticipate needs throughout the meal
• Process payments accurately; close out tables promptly and correctly
• Complete all pre-shift and post-shift side work; attend pre-shift briefings and uphold Haruka's uniform and grooming standards at all times

An ideal candidate will:

• Have +1 year restaurant experience

• Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 40 pounds
• Must be able to occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb is required
• Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, cleaning, and stooping
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time
• Be comfortable working overtime as needed

Requirements:

Active Food Handlers

Active RSB certifications

Harassment training within 30 days of employment

Must be eligible to work in the US.
