The company also operates one of the largest anaerobic digestion facilities in North America, converting more than 120,000 MT of source-separated organics every year to produce renewable natural gas.
Greenfield's low-carbon ethanol helps industry decarbonize and meet net-zero targets, while its team of researchers and engineers continue to innovate and produce other sustainable fuels and chemicals such as green hydrogen, green methanol, sustainable aviation fuel and renewable natural gas.

About the Job
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Market Analyst will collect, analyze, and report on the activities, strategies, and performance of Greenfield Global Inc. market's, industries, and competitors. This newly created role will determine how best to provide the senior leadership team with strategic insight, market information and industry intelligence to drive growth in line with the company's objectives and long-range strategy.
What You Will Do
- Conduct primary and secondary research on the Company's market, industry, and competitors using various sources, such as databases, websites, publications, surveys, interviews, etc.
- Develop thought leadership on industry, market and global trends highlighting the impact on the Company's three lines of business.
- Identify and monitor key trends, creating and maintaining profiles, reports, dashboards, and presentations on the competitors' strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis)
- Analyze complex quantitative and qualitative data in an efficient manner and synthesize the output to provide actionable insights and recommendations which support strategic decision-making and planning.
- Act as facilitator for strategy discussions to drive decision making amongst senior team.
- Collaborate and communicate with internal stakeholders, such as managers, executives, finance, sales, marketing, operations, procurement, etc., to share relevant information and findings.
- Use straightforward, concise, structured, and compelling communication.
- Move easily between big picture thinking and working in detail with relevant data.
- Anticipate stakeholder needs and develop and discuss potential solutions.
- Participate in due diligence as required.
- Assume additional projects and responsibilities as required.
- Stay updated on the latest developments and innovations in the field of competitive insights.
What You Bring
- Ability to gather and synthesize competitor, market, and industry information.
- Exceptional analytical skills that enable compilation of large amounts of information in an easy-to-understand format.
- Knowledge of specific industries or markets of interest to Greenfield Global Inc.
- Familiarity with advanced analytical tools and techniques, such as data visualization, predictive modeling, artificial intelligence (AI), etc.
- Proficiency in various research methods and tools, such as web analytics, databases, search engines, social media, etc.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret data and draw conclusions.
- Attention to detail and accuracy to ensure the quality and reliability of data and reports.
- Creativity and curiosity to explore new sources of information and generate new ideas.
- Effective change agent who has demonstrated influencing skills needed to help others adopt new ways of thinking.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills
- Advanced business and financial acumen
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently on complex projects.
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- A bachelor's and/or master's degree in business administration, marketing, economics, statistics, or a related field
- CPA, CFA is preferred.
- Investment banking, management consulting or private equity experience is an asset.
- Membership in relevant professional associations or networks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
