The UPS Store Sales Associate

We are looking for a Center Sales Associate/Shift Leader who runs the day-to-day operations of this retail location. He or she may be required to open and close the center, help manage productivity, and ensure the center's team delivers world-class customer service to all customers, monitor cost control and expenses. The Center Shift Lead is involved with continuous improvement, service delivery levels, personnel management, and business development.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (college coursework or a degree preferred), one year of retail store operations experience, strong supervisory/managerial/leadership skills, excellent computer/internet/software knowledge, and the physical ability to perform this job (lifting, bending, etc.), and knows how to listen, follow, lead, and help attain defined targets. He or she must have a dynamic personality and must be able to help motivate a team to optimize performance.

Responsibilities:

• Shipping/Mailing - Processing shipments for customers
• Package/Mail Sorting - Sorting incoming deliveries for pickup
• Packing - Providing packing service for customers
• Passport Photos -Taking photos for passport pictures
• Printing, Scanning, Faxing - Providing print services to customers
• Notary - Verifying ID of document signers

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2-4 years of supervisory experience in retail and/or management
• Good knowledge of sales and marketing
• Excellent leadership, time-management, and communication skills
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success
• Outstanding phone skills
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Outstanding phone skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math
• Prompt, reliable, and responsible
• Able to lift 40 pounds

• Saturday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Sunday 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
