Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dynamic opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in early childhood education within a supportive school environment serving a high needs, severe, and non-verbal student population. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized occupational therapy services tailored to meet the needs of young children with severe and non-verbal challenges
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on enhancing functional skills and promoting independence
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each childs progress and well-being
• Manage cases involving eloping behaviors, applying strategies to ensure safety and effective engagement

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based or early childhood settings
• Proven ability to work with high needs populations, especially non-verbal children
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques related to eloping preferred
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to team-based care

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Contract Details:

• Pay range: $50+/hr
• Duration: August 14, 2025, to July 24, 2026
• Year-round school calendar with the possibility of contract renewal
