Janitorial Services Job Coach

Achievement House Inc. is a non-profit organization with a rich history of supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. We are dedicated to promoting independence and inclusion through vocational training, education, and adaptive living skills programs.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time  Janitorial Services Job Coach to assist our individuals in achieving their vocational goals. This role involves guiding individuals on janitorial duties and ensuring that all services meet or exceed the expectations of our various sites. The sites include Hearst Castle and other various locations.  We are offering a $250 sign-on bonus for this position! Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional demeanor while working with individuals served and the community.
• Provide continuous instructions for work specific to vocational growth and training objectives.
• Oversee and manage a crew of custodial trainees, providing guidance, support, direction, and training.
• Ensure quality of work completed with each job and provide excellent customer service to stakeholders and contract representatives.
• Ensure crew has necessary supplies, track jobs and document work performed, and maintain company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must have own vehicle and maintain a current California driver’s license. Driving is an essential function.
• Must provide on-going proof of current state required auto insurance.
• Must clear fingerprints through the California Department of Justice and the FBI.
• Must successfully complete First Aid / CPR training (Training is offered onsite).
• A high school education or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience working with Individuals with Developmental Disabilities is preferred.
• Basic computer/technology skills.

Compensation

Competitive compensation package, including a $250 sign-on bonus. Anticipated pay is $23.00/hr.
