Marketing Specialist
Pay Range: $90,000 - $105,500 annually

As the Marketing Specialist for the Masons of California, you will primarily market the Masonic Homes of California in Union City and Covina, Acacia Creek Retirement Community, Masonic Center for Youth and Families, and for our social services division, Masonic Outreach Services. In this role, you will market our wellness resources, social services and our vibrant retirement communities through live events (12-20 a year), direct mail, digital, print and other channels. Plus, you’ll learn a ton about the fascinating world of Freemasonry.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY
Responsible for lead generation for our senior living communities, social services and mental health divisions. Audiences include the general public and our membership and their families.
Essential Functions
- Meets with sales and management teams to determine needs and marketing goals.
- Manage and executes marketing campaigns, including direct mail, social, search, email and in-person marketing opportunities with in-house and agency teams. Collaborates on print advertising, direct mail pieces, brochures, and other marketing materials to support the sales process.
- Oversees and maintains content and SEO on key websites.
- Plans and markets events on behalf of the sales team.
- Analyze and report on marketing results in our CRM with sales team on a regular basis.
- Foster and maintain collaborative marketing counsel
COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrated ability to create and achieve consensus for tactical and strategic marketing plans across channels
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to meet multiple demands, stakeholders, and deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated experience building effective direct mail, online and digital marketing campaigns
- Demonstrated experience planning and marketing events
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Demonstrated experience in project management tools such as Asana and Base Camp
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong leadership skills; ability to work with leaders, members, management, and employees
Requirements
- 7+ years’ experience planning and executing marketing campaigns for senior living, non-profit organization, member/association organization, or marketing agency
- BA in Communications or Marketing
Experience working in:
- Senior living communities or similar
- CRMs such as Welcome Home, MatrixCare, and others
- Digital marketing tools, such as Google AdWords, Facebook, TikTok, and other digital marketing platforms
- Digital asset management systems and other digital collaboration tools, such as TEAMS and BrandFolder
