As a member of our Infrastructure team, you will enable developers at Verkada to easily put quality features into the hands of users. We emphasize tools over processes, automation over operation, metrics over anecdotes, iteration over perfection, and proactive over responsive.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot custom developed frontend and backend tools/platforms for internal use
• Own a high level of cross functional team communications and demonstrate deep engineering knowledge

Requirements

• 2+ years of full stack development experience
• 2+ years experience in tools and custom application development
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as ReactJS or VueJS
• Experience architecting and maintaining large Javascript/Typescript apps
• Familiarity with REST APIs
• Flexible and adaptive in a fast-paced startup environment

Nice to have

• Experience building javascript libraries and frameworks
• Proficient in at least one of the backend programming language such as Go and Python
• Experience working with Microservices and AWS
• Beautiful design skills

Pay Disclosure

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate’s skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range. This estimate is also just one component of Verkada’s total rewards package. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

$140,000—$280,000 USD
