As a Technical Program Manager on the Electronic Systems Team, you'll drive hardware development for Tesla's Displays—the dynamic interfaces that power human-machine interaction, bringing real-life AI to vivid life and revolutionizing connections with intelligent systems. Your mission: Deliver program success through precise planning, execution, and communication, while enabling seamless cross-functional collaboration in our fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

What You'll Do

Ensure engineering program goals, scope, and requirements are clearly defined, documented, and aligned with stakeholdersBuild program roadmaps and detailed timelines outlining milestones, critical paths, and deliverablesLead and synchronize cross-functional teams to ensure timely program delivery through effective coordination, spanning hardware engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, firmware, and test toward unified program objectivesEnsure team efforts align with project goals, optimizing productivity by steering teams away from non-critical activitiesTrack engineering sample demand and supply, coordinating with supply chain teams to meet program milestonesProactively identify, track and resolve program risks with structured mitigation and contingency plans to minimize impact on program timelines and deliverablesMaintain open communication with stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are understood and managedMonitor progress and provide regular updates on program status, including key metrics, wins, challenges, and escalationsContinuously refine project management methodologies and implement process improvements for cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and program outcomes

What You'll Bring

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience with demonstrated exceptional abilities3+ years of experience in product development, ideally with experience shipping products in medium-to-high volume industries 3+ years of experience in program management within an engineering or technical environmentProven ability to rapidly grasp complex technical conceptsStrong attention to detail, coupled with excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills5+ years of experience in program management within an engineering or technical industry, leading cross-functional teams in the design, development, and delivery of complex technical products preferredProven experience in leading system-level product development, overseeing end-to-end product development of complex hardware systems preferredHands-on design engineering experience in display products or electromechanical product design is highly valued preferred

Expected Compensation

$96,800 - $217,200/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
