Job Summary
Bon Appétit Management Company has a great opportunity as a Senior Graphic Designer to support our sales team's efforts. This role includes bringing presentations and sales proposals to life, designing visually compelling materials from documents and collateral to digital presentations and custom branding. You should be a team player who enjoys collaboration, but also a self-starter who can work independently on multiple fast-paced project deadlines. This job is located in the Bay Area, CA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Brainstorm, develop, and execute creative ideas for the design of sales materials including sales proposals and presentations.
- Ensure creative consistency and maintain design integrity, from initial design to final submission.
- Setup templates and styles for all design deliverables to ensure consistency of typeface and styles using a variety of Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft programs.
- Ensure all typography formatting is clean, paying close attention to line returns, spacing and justification.
- Ensure use of properly licensed, high-res, cutting-edge imagery and graphics that align with content/subject of design materials.
- Reskinning of reusable assets, templates and proposed sales and marketing materials as needed.
- Creating PowerPoint, Interactive InDesign, and Canva sales presentations
- Work closely with team members to see projects through to completion, adhering to established timelines.
- Assist with and execute last minute changes to sales materials.
- Stay current on industry-related trends and technical capabilities.
Digital
- Assist with development or editing of images and graphics needed for digital projects.
- Design and develop interactive presentations.
- Website development skills a plus using Wordpress or similar.
Production
- Understand the printing process to accurately prepare files for printing and production.
- Ability to troubleshoot any technical problems with documents/images to ensure issue free deliverables.
- Assist team in developing and optimizing workflow processes related to role, design and production.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of related graphic design experience is required
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in related field.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Adobe XD and After Effects skills a bonus) along with the full Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint. Use of Canva is a plus.
- Strong, conceptual thinker who possesses a wide range of design capabilities including print, packaging, collateral, digital, typography and presentation design.
- Web, interactive design and/or video editing experience a plus.
- A strong understanding of Macs & PC cross-utilization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Successfully manages time, workflow and schedule in order to meet strict and sometimes fast-paced deadlines with consistent quality performance.
- Works quickly and efficiently with focus and a keen attention to detail.
- Able to problem solve and find multiple design solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead team members to complete projects.
- Must take pride in their work and be passionate about design.
- Project management experience a plus.
