Job Summary

Zen is looking for a Junior Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Analyst to support cybersecurity efforts by researching, analyzing, and reporting on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and adversary tactics. The Junior CTI Analyst is an entry-level role involving gathering intelligence from various sources, assisting in incident investigations, and helping teams stay ahead of cyber risks. The ideal candidate possesses a demonstrated understanding of Threat Intelligence tools and techniques, with strong analytical skills and a keen interest in cybercrime, threat actors, and digital defense strategies. Additionally, the ideal candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills to provide briefings, reports, and other communications to stakeholders and peers.

Responsibilities

This position will support the collection, analysis, and dissemination of cyber threat intelligence. Assist in identifying emerging threats and supporting proactive defense measures.

- Monitor and analyze threat data from open-source intelligence (OSINT), dark web sources, and commercial feeds

- Assist in identifying emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack trends

- Support the development of threat profiles and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)

- Collaborate with incident response and SOC teams to provide contextual intelligence during investigations

- Help maintain threat intelligence platforms and databases

- Contribute to regular intelligence reports and briefings for stakeholders, and maintaining threat intelligence reports.

- Stay current with global cyber threat landscape and geopolitical developments impacting cybersecurity

- Demonstrate proficiency in using threat intelligence platforms and tools.

- Basic understanding of threat intelligence frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, Diamond Model)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
