Senior Accountant
A well-established food manufacturing company in Fairfield is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and wants to grow with a stable, locally rooted organization.
What You'll Do:
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare financial statements and variance analyses
- Oversee general ledger activity, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting functions
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing or food production
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
- Detail-oriented with solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
