Microchip Technology is seeking a Quality Analyst to support and strengthen quality systems, documentation, and data‑driven quality processes. This role supports cross‑functional teams by ensuring quality records, metrics, and processes are accurate, compliant, and continuously improving.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail‑oriented, technically comfortable with data and systems, and motivated to work within a structured Quality Management System while identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and analyze quality records, documentation, and product traceability in accordance with established procedures
- Own execution and completion of customer‑required quality documentation and data packages, such as End Item Data Packages (EIDP), as‑built traceability records, Certificates of Conformance (CofCs), inspection and test reports, final dimension reports, training/qualification records, and other shipment‑ or audit‑required data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and on‑time readiness.
- Create, update, and publish quality reports, dashboards, and metrics (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
- Collect and consolidate quality data from multiple systems and stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Track corrective and preventive actions; follow up on open items to ensure timely closure
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, objective evidence, and data responses
- Review customer quality requirements, surveys, and data requests; coordinate responses with internal teams
- Support the development, revision, and control of procedures, work instructions, and quality forms
- Use Microsoft Excel and other business tools to analyze data, highlight gaps, and improve process efficiency
- Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to support quality objectives
Requirements/Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 0–3 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a related regulatory environment
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Working knowledge of a Quality Management System (ISO 9001 and/or AS9100), including experience working with controlled records, traceability, and audit or customer‑required documentation
- Experience in quality systems, quality analysis, documentation control, operations support, or regulated environments
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the MS Office suite
- Ability to follow defined processes, recognize inconsistencies, and escalate issues appropriately
- Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management skills
- Ability to work independently while supporting cross‑functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with quality metrics, audits, corrective action systems, or ERP tools
- Familiarity with structured or regulated business environments
- Interest in quality systems, process improvement, and continuous improvement methodologies

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $70,304-$128,000.*
- Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
