Senior Civil Engineer I/II – Land Development

Salary Range: $95,000 – $120,000 per year

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Civil Engineer I/II, you will:

• Develop project designs by evaluating project constraints, site conditions, project goals, agency requirements, and engineering best practices

• Support construction administration efforts, including RFIs, submittals, and construction changes

• Train and provide technical guidance to junior engineering staff

• Prepare technical reports and perform complex calculations related to hydrology, hydraulics, water quality, stormwater detention, and utility sizing

• Complete complex grading designs and earthwork calculations

• Deliver high-quality engineering work products, including full QA/QC reviews and completeness checks, for internal and external stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited four-year institution

• 5–7 years of experience, depending on prior land development design experience

• At least 2 years of independently solving complex engineering problems in land development

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Land Development Desktop (LDD), and/or Civil 3D

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification

• A motivated, curious problem-solver who works well both independently and collaboratively
