Manager, Sales Operations
The Manager, Sales Operations and Support provides tools and services required for executing our strategy and supporting our global sales force including analytics, presentations, revenue forecasting, sales channel focus initiatives, sales channel on-boarding, sales reporting and sales communication.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate planning efforts, ensuring alignment between Senior Management, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance and other key stakeholders. Areas of focus: developing a world-class process that effectively meets its business requirements and delivers ongoing improvements to forecasting process.
- • Support with the development of Sales long-term strategy including 3-year plans and strategic investments.
- • Plan, manage and execute Sales Monthly and Quarterly field communication.
- • Assist with the development of presentations, including preparation of PowerPoint slides, researching topics, analytics, etc.
- • Coordinates the accumulation and compilation of materials for meetings and other purposes, including sales meetings, monthly management meetings, monthly management reports, etc. often combining department specific materials into a single operations document; ensures reports are received and turned in on time; may provide input into format and layout of graphic presentation of data; may create notebooks for all data presented.
- • Interact with, and provide support for EVP, Sales, Sales Leadership Team, Direct Sales Representatives and ATEC Distributors.
- • Manage data, systems and reporting across SAP, Power BI and SalesForce.com.
- • Assist in the planning, execution and training of new systems and processes.
- • Create, maintain and report on new insightful metrics and analysis.
- • Assist with Upstream and Downstream Sales Recruiting, including Sales forecasts, compensation structure, team structure and performance tracking
- • Manage Business Unit structure and headcount tracking and strategy
- • Drive new Sales onboarding process to ensure Reps are prepared to sell quickly
- • Support territory alignments and hiring strategy based on market opportunity analysis
- • Assist in the development of Sales compensation plans and strategy
- • Assist is the reporting and analysis of sales cost to serve and work to implement improvements.
- • Integrate feedback/market intelligence from customers, competitors, internal departments, and industry groups to continuously improve competitive position.
- • Seeks and maintains a comprehensive understanding of company and departmental policies and procedures in order to effectively and efficiently conduct duties and responsibilities; may advise individuals inside and outside the organization of the executive's views on major policies or issues; sets priorities independently.

- Must have experience using analytics to determine root causes and identify solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to understand the sales process and experience working with the field sales organizations.
- This position requires 10% - 25% travel.
- Demonstrated ability in creating a customer focused culture.
- Experience with Microsoft Office with specific expertise using Powerpoint.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; minimum 3 -5 years experience in an Sales Support or Operations related position within the medical device industry. Strong experience with PC based communications and analysis including Internet and MS Office. Accounting and analyst experience is desirable.

Salary Range
Alphatec Spine, Inc. complies with state and federal wage and hour laws and compensation depends upon candidate’s qualifications, education, skill set, years of experience, and internal equity. $120,000 to $140,000 Full-Time Annual Salary
