Lead Software Engineer

• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to build new features
• Find creative and elegant solutions to complex problems that scalable, maintainable and performant
• Provide technical leadership in evaluation of new technologies, frameworks, tools and green field ideas
• Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support in technical challenges
• Conduct thorough design & code reviews to ensure best practices & high coding standards
• Collaborate with Support and Professional Services teams to solve customer issues
• Work in an agile environment where multitasking, quick iterations and good feedback are a way of life

• 10+ years of software development experience with Ruby on Rails and/or Java
• Strong object-oriented design and analysis skills
• Expertise in common design patterns
• Experience building REST APIs and micro-services
• Experience working with React.js (or similar Javascript framework) and CSS
• Experience working with databases such as MySQL, including performance and optimization
• Experience with technical mentoring

The estimated pay range for this role is as follows:

•Based in California: $183,600 - 216,000

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
