We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer to design and implement cutting-edge IoT use cases. You will work on diverse projects that harness the power of AI to deliver impactful solutions across various sectors. Your role will involve:

• Designing and developing IoT applications that utilize Qualcomm's AI technology.
• Implementing robust and scalable solutions for video surveillance, consumer/retail, robotics, industrial applications, and beyond.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of IoT systems.
• Staying updated with the latest advancements in AI and IoT to continuously innovate and improve our offerings.

Skills/Experience:

Must haves:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter who likes to be challenged and solve tough complex issues with a passion for coding
• Proven ability to design, debug and document complex software applications
• Proven object-oriented design (OOD) programming experience in C/C++ or Java is required; experience with Python is strongly preferred
• Strong Object Oriented Design fundamentals and design pattern experience is desired.

Experience in these areas jump you to the front of the line:

• Experience developing and deploying scalable IOT solutions either on-device at the edge and/or in the cloud.
• Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes
• Programming experience JavaScript/NodeJS, Rust, Go/Golang
• Strong mathematical foundation and extensive experience in Deep Learning, Machine Learning and Computer Vision.
• Experience with on-device AI runtimes like TFLite, Pytorch edge, TinyML, or Qualcomm AI stack
• Understanding of communication protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, and
• Familiarity with embedded systems programming, including microcontrollers and microprocessors
• Ability to develop and integrate APIs for seamless communication between IoT devices and platforms
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying and managing IoT solutions

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits :

$111,300.00 - $166,900.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
