Registered Veterinary Technician - Dentistry (Manhattan Beach)

Bay Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician with a strong focus in dentistry to join our team!


This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who is passionate about veterinary dental care and eager to fully utilize their anesthesia, radiology, and dental procedure expertise while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.


In this role, you will:

• Perform comprehensive dental procedures, including prophylaxis, full-mouth dental radiographs, charting, and assisting with advanced dental treatments and extractions
• Provide exceptional patient care throughout dental and surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient preparation, and recovery
• Ensure efficient dental workflow, anticipating the needs of the veterinarian and maintaining a high standard of care and organization
• Accurately document dental findings and contribute to treatment planning and case management
• Communicate with clients to review dental disease, treatment plans, home care, and discharge instructions with empathy and clarity
• Contribute to dental case success and efficiency, with the opportunity to earn production-based compensation on dental procedures

This is a full-time, position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday, and some weekend coverage as needed.

• Compensation: $33-35 per hour, for each hour worked*
• Additional earning potential through production on dental procedures

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of California
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Anesthesia induction and monitoring
  • Dental prophy and radiographs
  • Advanced Dentistry Techniques
