The Warehouse Clerk is essential to the seamless daily operations of the warehouse, supporting inventory management, order processing, and accurate record-keeping. This part-time role involves coordinating with the Operations Supervisor and ensuring shipments are handled efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities
Receiving and processing incoming shipments
preparing shipping documents, labels and bills of lading
Entering inventory and shipment data into computer systems
Tracking inventory levels and updating records
Verifying orders for accuracy before shipping or receiving
Filing paperwork and maintaining warehouse records
Answering emails or phone calls related to Shipments and inventory
Coordinating whit drivers, vendors and customers as needed
- Manage and track inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently
- Handle order processing including data entry and documentation
- Label and package products correctly for shipment
- Conduct quality control checks to maintain product standards
- Use computer systems to update inventory and shipping records
- Utilize Excel and Word for reporting and documentation purposes
