Human Resources and Recruiting Manager

As we continue to grow, we are on the lookout for talented individuals to join our team. : As a Human Resources Manager at Defense International, you will be the backbone supporting our expanding team. You will work intimately with our recruiting and operations departments, ensuring smooth onboarding, orientation, and consistent policy enforcement. Key Responsibilities: - Work in close collaboration with the recruiting and operations teams.
- Conduct employee orientation, introducing new hires to our company culture and values.
- Stay updated with all relevant state and company policies and laws.
- Manage employee records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Address employee concerns and queries, fostering a supportive work environment.
- Assist in the recruitment process, from job posting to interviewing.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
- Evaluate training programs and recommend improvements.
- Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Monitor HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates, retention rates) to gauge workforce health.
Requirements: - Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role.
- Familiarity with human resource management systems and applicant tracking systems.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
