Salary Range: $65,000 – $102,000 annually, depending on experience

Hughes Gill Cochrane Tinetti, seeking an experienced and highly organized Legal Secretary to support its attorneys in both corporate transactional matters and civil litigation.

Our firm represents common interest developments throughout California and is known for providing responsive, practical, and high-quality legal counsel in the community association industry. We are seeking a dependable team player who thrives in a fast-paced professional environment and takes pride in producing polished work product and exceptional client service.

Responsibilities Include:

• Formatting, proofreading, and revising correspondence and legal documents
• Managing attorney calendars, deadlines, court dates, and scheduling
• E-filing in California state courts and managing litigation deadlines
• Assisting with transactional and corporate matters Coordinating meetings, hearings, mediations, and depositions
• Communicating professionally with clients, managers, vendors, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Maintaining electronic files
• Time entry, and administrative support as needed

Qualifications:

• Five to ten years of prior legal secretary experience required
• Experience in civil litigation strongly preferred
• Experience with corporate transactional and/or community association matters is a plus
• Knowledge of California court rules and e-filing procedures
• Excellent proofreading, grammar, and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
• Strong xrczosw proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document and calendar management systems
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
