Associate Project Engineer – Substation
We are hiring an Associate Project Engineer to support substation engineering projects involving electrical design support, project coordination, technical analysis, construction support, and project execution.
This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level or early-career engineers looking to grow within utility, transmission, and power infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Support engineering activities for substation projects
- Conduct site walkdowns and gather technical data
- Assist in scope development, schedules, and cost estimates
- Review engineering drawings and technical documents
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and vendors
- Assist material procurement and equipment requests
- Participate in design review meetings
- Support construction teams and resolve field issues
- Track engineering forecasts and progress updates
- Ensure quality and compliance standards are met
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in project-based environments
Preferred
- 1+ year experience in electrical engineering/design
- Utility / power / substation exposure
- AutoCAD or design tools experience
- EPC or infrastructure project background
