Baywood Animal Hospital, an AAHA-accredited, full-service companion animal practice just outside Barrie, is seeking a Hospital Manager to join our growing team. The Opportunity:
As Hospital Manager, you’ll be a key member of our leadership team, partnering with the Managing DVM to run smooth, profitable operations while fostering a positive hospital culture. Reporting to the Manager of Regional Operations, you’ll lead daily operations, manage costs, drive revenue, and ensure exceptional client service.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
• Resolve client issues and oversee follow-up communications.
• Partner with the Managing DVM on staffing, training, and performance management.
• Manage hospital operations, including policies, compliance, vendor relationships, and inventory.
• Oversee payroll, budgeting, and financial goals.
• Drive client visits through strategic communications and local marketing.
• Promote a positive workplace culture and employee experience.

• Proven experience leading teams and managing day-to-day operations.
• Strong decision-making skills and resilience in ambiguity.
• Expertise in operational strategy and aligning team goals with organizational objectives.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• A genuine love for animals and people who care for them.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience in veterinary, healthcare, dental, or hospitality management.
• Payroll, budgeting, and annual goal-setting experience.
• Familiarity with MS Suite, Ceridian Dayforce, or PIMS software.
