Payroll Specialist I

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist I to join our team. This role is ideal for a payroll professional with experience processing payroll, reviewing time records, ensuring payroll accuracy, and supporting employee timekeeping functions. If you have strong administrative skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
* Collect and review employee weekly timecards.

* Contact employees regarding missing or incomplete timecards.

* Calculate time worked and accurately process payroll within the company payroll system.

* Ensure timecards reflect correct clock-in and clock-out information.

* Process PTO and Sick Request Forms.

* Review client invoices to verify billing accuracy.

* Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy.

* Support payroll and administrative functions as needed.

* Perform additional payroll-related duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
* 2-3 years of recent experience in payroll processing.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to manage deadlines and handle confidential information professionally.
* Bachelor's degree preferred.

* Bilingual Spanish highly desirable.
