Back Dock Shipping and Receiving Clerk
- Shipping and Receiving:
- Receive incoming shipments of camera dollies and accessories, checking for accuracy and inspecting for any damages.
- Prepare camera dollies and equipment for outbound shipments, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Generate shipping labels, packing lists, and other relevant documentation.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to arrange pickups and deliveries with shipping carriers.
- Maintain a well-organized and clean shipping/receiving area.
- Inventory Management:
- Update and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing inventory using our inventory management system.
- Conduct regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the management team when replenishment is needed.
- Customer Service:
- Assist customers with pickups and returns, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
- Address customer inquiries regarding shipping status, tracking information, and product availability.
- Provide product information and guidance to customers when necessary.
- Act as an active listener, understanding customer needs and resolving any issues or concerns with empathy.
- Vehicle Operation and Maintenance:
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport camera dollies and equipment to various client locations and production sets.
- Pick up and deliver Manufacturing parts and supplies
- Follow all traffic and safety regulations while driving and ensure the proper loading and securing of equipment in the vehicle.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and ensuring cleanliness.
- General Support:
- Collaborate with the warehouse team in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Assist with equipment assembly, disassembly, and quality checks as needed.
- Utilize computer skills for data entry, inventory tracking, and communication with team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving, inventory management, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy camera equipment.
- Familiarity with camera dollies and related film equipment is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, showcasing strong interpersonal skills.
- Computer proficiency for data entry and utilizing inventory management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends based on business needs.
