Registered Nurse (OR/GI)

Job Summary:

Join our team at Heart Vascular & Leg Center, a leading Comprehensive Outpatient Center specializing in Cardiology and Vascular services. We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in the Operating Room to join our Premier Surgery Center. The ideal candidate must hold a current Registered Nurse license and be open to working flexible hours from 5 am to 5 pm. Conscious sedation experience is preferred, along with proficiency in IV skills.

Duties:

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room setting, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to assigned patients.
• Utilize the nursing process for assessment, goal setting, planning interventions, and continuous evaluation of care provided.
• Adhere to established policies, procedures, standards of care, and regulatory guidelines to maintain quality care delivery.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to delegate responsibilities effectively and ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with best practices.

Skills:

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Possess a current California RN license.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well with diverse individuals.
• Current CPR certification and ACLS required.
• Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical experience in an acute care facility; Critical Care Unit experience is a plus.
• Ability to work under the supervision of physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.
• Demonstrate teamwork and professionalism when interacting with colleagues, patients, and their families.
