Paralegal Assistant

We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Paralegal
Assistant to support our in-house legal team. In this role, you'll manage legal
files, monitor queues, share documents, and respond to general inquiries.
You'll gain valuable insight into how paralegals collaborate with attorneys,
sales teams, clients, and vendors. If you're organized, curious about the legal

What You’ll Do:

• Set up legal files, collect documents, and send materials to
  outside counsel
• Monitor the CRM queue and respond to routine requests
  following established processes
• Track the legal invoice mailbox and submit standard invoices
  (e.g., Westlaw subscriptions) for approval
• Review Westlaw alerts related to tenant screening, summarize
  key points, and share with the legislation team
• Distribute standard data security documents as needed
• Assist with administrative tasks tied to client, event, and
  vendor contracts
• Learn about legal processes, the tenant screening industry,
  other Yardi business units, products and services, and the role of in-house
  paralegals by shadowing and supporting the team

Who You Are:

• Associate degree in business, legal studies or related field
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work
  independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Detail-oriented, open to feedback and direction, and
  accountable for seeing projects through to completion
• Ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks, manage time,
  and multitask in a deadline-driven environment
• Clear and concise oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft® Word, Outlook, Excel, and
  SharePoint

Ideal to Have:

• Knowledge of or an interest in learning legal processes,
  terminology, and litigation management
• Interest in obtaining a paralegal certification
