GCP Consultant

Akkodis is seeking a GCP Consultant for a Contract with a client in Woodland Hills, CA. You will be responsible for deploying and managing core GCP services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and ensuring secure, scalable cloud solutions.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

GCP Consultant job responsibilities include:

• Design, deploy, and manage core GCP services including Cloud Run, Internal Load Balancer, Cloud Storage Buckets, IAM roles, and Pub/Sub.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform for automated provisioning and configuration.

• Develop and maintain Git/Terraform/GCP workflows to support continuous integration and deployment.

• Ensure secure and scalable cloud architecture while adhering to best practices and compliance standards.

• Collaborate with multi-vendor teams, including Google consultants, to deliver integrated cloud solutions.

• Troubleshoot and optimize GCP environments for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with core GCP services and cloud architecture.

• Strong expertise in deploying GCP services (Cloud Run, IAM, Pub/Sub, Load Balancer) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Git workflows.

• Proven ability to design secure, scalable cloud solutions and collaborate effectively in multi-vendor environments.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
