CNC Mill Machinist

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced 5-Axis CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Walnut, CA. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience running Doosan and Haas CNC machines with Haas and Fanuc controls, and is comfortable managing multiple machines simultaneously in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor 5-axis CNC milling machines including Doosan and Haas equipment
• Run 2 to 3 machines concurrently while maintaining quality and production targets
• Execute programs using Haas and Fanuc CNC control systems
• Perform machine setups, tool changes, and offsets with minimal supervision
• Inspect parts using precision measurement tools to verify conformance to specifications
• Identify and troubleshoot machining issues including tooling, fixturing, and program adjustments
• Maintain accurate production records, setup sheets, and inspection logs
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Communicate effectively with programming and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on CNC machining experience
• Must have experience operating Doosan CNC machines (required)
• Experience operating Haas CNC machines
• Proficiency with Haas and Fanuc CNC control systems
• Proven 5-axis machining experience
• Ability to run 2 to 3 machines simultaneously
• Strong understanding of speeds, feeds, tooling, and workholding
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T tolerances
• Experience with precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-precision manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with first-article inspection processes
• Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO quality standards

• Schedule: 1st Shift
• Start Time: 6:00 AM
• Compensation: DOE, competitive pay based on experience and skill level
• Location: Walnut, CA (on-site)
