Job Description:

We're hiring a Staff or Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and development of our backend APIs—powering scalable, secure, high-performance GenAI services. But more than just a backend expert, we're looking for a builder with a 100x mindset . We expect our engineers to leverage modern AI tools (like GitHub Copilot, GPT- based assistants, etc.) to deliver 10x+ outcomes through leverage, not just effort . Responsibilities:

• Design and build robust RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Python, Go, or Rust Architect scalable systems for real-time AI/ML-powered applications

• Partner with ML engineers and frontend developers to ship intelligent, user- facing features

• Ensure performance, security, and reliability across hybrid (cloud/on-prem) environments

• Lead technical architecture and long-term backend strategy

• Drive best practices for code quality, observability, and API design

• Mentor engineers and help grow a high-performance, AI-augmented engineering culture

• Take ownership of customer deployments and support production excellence

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of backend software engineering experience (Python, Go, Rust)

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.

• Proven experience designing and scaling APIs in cloud-native environments

• Strong systems thinking, debugging skills, and production engineering mindset

• Hands-on with modern infra: Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

• Experience with distributed systems, async services (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and databases (SQL/NoSQL)

• Deep curiosity and a growth mindset—you love learning, experimenting, and iterating

• Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate your development workflow

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.

• Experience with AI/ML platforms or MLOps pipelines

• Familiarity with Graph or Vector databases, or large-scale search infra-Startup or hypergrowth environment experience

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, feature flagging, and testing frameworks
